Feng Shui for wellbeing

Feng Shui for wellbeing is more than just decluttering. It’s a practical way to enhance the healthy, free-flowing energy which brings good health and happiness.

Contemporary Feng Shui is a blend of ancient Chinese wisdom and modern ideas about healthy living. Its overall aim is to make life less stressful and difficult.

Feng Shui for wellbeing unblocks stagnant energy — which can manifest anxiety, arguments, bad luck, frustration and poor health — and redirects its flow. It restores balance to the energy flowing through our surroundings, and through ourselves.

The results can be life-changing:

  • You feel more energetic and motivated to move forward
  • You can think more clearly
  • Sleep improves
  • It can foster healthy, fulfilling relationships
  • You feel calmer, healthier and more positive about the future

As a Feng Shui consultant, sustainability plays a key role in how I work. If we dispose of any unwanted items, I always ensure that they are recycled, reused and regenerated.

My name is Lynn Kingdon. If you’d like a no-obligation conversation about Feng Shui for wellbeing, I’d be delighted to hear from you.

What is Feng Shui for wellbeing?

Feng Shui has been practised in China for more than 3,000 years. It means `wind’ (feng) and `water’ (shui) — the two most powerful forces in nature.

At its core is the principle that the life force chi flows through everything, including ourselves. We can’t see it, but we can certainly sense  it.  When you enter a room and feel instantly good or bad about the space, that’s chi.

Feng Shui for wellbeing allows chi  to flow gently and freely around your living or working environment. At the same time, it balances its two complementary and opposing elements, `yin’ and `yang’.

I draw on natural elements, compass direction, furniture and item placement, ergonomic design, light, ventilation, symbols, shapes and plants.

The idea is to make chi work for you, rather than against you.

Feng Shui for wellbeing and happiness. How does it work?

During a Feng Shui consultation, I’ll suggest small but significant changes to balance and harness positive energy, while dissipating blocked energy which influences imbalance and disharmony.

It’s a collaborative process. I would never come in and rearrange everything. It’s important that you feel comfortable with the changes, and that they work on a practical level.

This is how my Feng Shui consultancy works:

  • Conversation — I’ll start by finding out where you are now, and where you’d like to be as a result of a Feng Shui consultation

  • A natal chart — Depending on your date and time of birth, there will be specific natural elements, symbols, colours, imagery and animals which are beneficial for you

  • Analysis — I take a detailed look at the different areas of your home: orientation, furniture and item placement, artwork, colour, the purpose of each room, auspicious and inauspicious areas

  • Consultation — I explain how to make changes, and why they will be beneficial. I’m happy to roll up my sleeves and help you in a practical way

  • Sustainable decluttering — I help you dispose of unwanted items in a sustainable way

  • A written report — I’ll summarise my analysis and recommendations. It will be a helpful resource when you want to make changes in the future

Shall we have a chat? I can explain more about how it works and you can see what you think.

The benefits of using Feng Shui for wellbeing

Feng Shui is about harmonising individuals with their surroundings. By restoring balance, it promotes a sense of health and wellbeing that may have been absent for some time.

As a consultant, I will always establish your end goal, then harness the energies which help you achieve it. So, the overall benefit to Feng Shui is clearing the path to what you desire.

Once these changes are made, you will notice a host of other benefits:

  • You sleep more soundly
  • You have a sense of inner calm, with less stress and anxiety
  • It provides a strong support for your health, relationships and career
  • You can attract abundance and prosperity to your life
  • Your quality of life improves

I’m Lynn Kingdon. Get in touch to tell me what you need from Feng Shui. I’ll explain more about how I can help.

FAQs

You’ll have questions so I’ve asked some of them here. If your question doesn’t appear, please feel free to get in touch. I’m always happy to provide the answer:

Yes, Feng Shui can work via a video call. The session works on the same principles as an in-person consultation. The only difference is that I’ll be guiding you as you move around your living space, finding its centre and establishing the compass directions.

I’m based in Horsham and will travel throughout East Sussex, West Sussex and Surrey. Don’t worry if you live outside this area. We can arrange an online consultation. Alternatively, I can come and see you in person — although I will need to recover travel expenses.

Yes. I’ll treat your home as one area, but I can narrow down the consultation to specific rooms. In my experience, the most popular rooms tend to be bedrooms and kitchens — but a consultation can focus on anywhere in your home.

Yes. Feng Shui works extremely well in outside spaces because it’s based on creating harmony within the natural environment. I’ll help you use colours, shapes, specific types of plants and water features to make this space a haven of tranquillity and calm.

I’ll need your date of birth and, if known, the time you were born. I’ll also ask you for the dates and times of birth of other people in your household. In addition, I’ll ask for a floorplan of your household. If you can’t get hold of a floorplan, don’t worry. I can give you advice on how to get hold of one, or we can draft a floorplan as part of the consultation.

Please don’t. It’s important for me to see the daily, real world environment in which you’re working. It helps me understand the impact this is currently having on you and your wellbeing.
