How Feng Shui works (in a nutshell)

Feng Shui isn’t religious or mystical. It stems from Taoist philosophy — the principle that humans are connected to the energy of the natural environment.

This energy (called chi) flows through everything, including ourselves, like breath. Chi is invisible, although you’ll have probably sensed its presence.

Have you ever walked into a room and had an instantly positive or negative reaction to the space? That’s chi.

By subtly resetting a space, Feng Shui aims to create healthy chi. It has the right balance of `yin’ (soft and still) and `yang’ (hard and energetic) to suit the purpose of the particular room.

As a result:

  • You feel more comfortable in your physical and mental space
  • You sleep more soundly
  • You can listen to your thoughts and make the right decisions
  • There is space to nourish and nurture your relationship
  • You can invite peace and prosperity, good fortune and good health into your life
