Feng Shui for emotional health

Feng Shui does more than just clear space in your home. It’s also a powerful tool for emotional health. It stills the mind and allows you to think more clearly.

Our surroundings shape and mirror our mindset. In an overcrowded living space, where perhaps your work and home life overlap, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and stressed.

Resetting the space will help. By creating a more supportive and nurturing environment, Feng Shui brings harmony and balance.

The results can be life-changing:

  • You’ll find it easier to wind down
  • You will sleep more soundly
  • You can make space for what you want to bring into your life
  • Your overall quality of life improves
  • You feel calmer, healthier and more positive about the future

As a Feng Shui consultant, sustainability plays a key role in how I work. When we’re decluttering your space and disposing of any unwanted items, I always ensure that they are recycled, reused and regenerated.

My name is Lynn Kingdon. If you’d like a no-obligation conversation, I’d be delighted to hear from you.

What is Feng Shui for emotional health

The practice of Feng Shui is more than 3,000 years old. It’s based on the Taoist principle that the life force, known as chi, flows through everything. That includes us.

Feng Shui aims to clear away stagnant energy and allow an unhindered flow of beneficial chi while balancing its two complementary and opposing elements `yin’ and `yang’.

When energy is flowing freely, you feel more comfortable in both your physical and emotional space. You have room to breathe, listen to your thoughts and make the right decisions.

During a consultation, I draw on natural elements, compass direction, furniture and item placement, ergonomic design, light, ventilation, symbols, colours and shapes. The idea is to clear the path to what you desire from life.

Feng Shui for emotional health. How does it work?

It’s a collaborative process. I would never come in and rearrange everything. This is your home, so it’s important that you feel comfortable, and that any changes are practical for you.

You won’t have to get rid of objects and items you love. Often, small changes can make a world of difference.

This is how my Feng Shui consultancy works:

  • Conversation — I’ll start by finding out where you are now, and where you’d like to be as a result of a Feng Shui consultation

  • A natal chart — Depending on your date and time of birth, there will be specific natural elements, symbols, colours, imagery and animals which are beneficial for you

  • Analysis — I take a detailed look at the different areas of your home: compass direction, orientation, furniture and item placement, artwork, colour, the purpose of each room, auspicious and inauspicious areas

  • Consultation — I explain how to make changes, and why they will be beneficial. I’m happy to roll up my sleeves and help you in a practical way

  • Sustainable decluttering — I help you dispose of unwanted items in a sustainable way

  • A written report — I’ll summarise my analysis and recommendations. It will be a helpful resource when you want to make changes in the future

Shall we have a chat? I can explain more about how it works and you can see what you think.

The benefits of using Feng Shui for emotional health

Feng Shui is about harmonising individuals with their surroundings. By restoring balance, it promotes a sense of peace that has, perhaps, been absent for some time.

It declutters your space and your mind, which can bring a host of benefits:

  • It becomes easier to let go of the past
  • Your family and romantic relationships are calmer and more harmonious
  • You reach your life goals more easily
  • You can attract abundance and prosperity to your life
  • You feel more energetic and motivated to move forward

I’m Lynn Kingdon. Get in touch to tell me what you need from Feng Shui. I’ll explain more about how I can help.

FAQs

You’ll have questions so I’ve asked some of them here. If your question doesn’t appear, please feel free to get in touch. I’m always happy to provide the answer:

Yes, Feng Shui can work via a video call. The session works on the same principles as an in-person consultation. The only difference is that I’ll be guiding you as you move around your living space, finding its centre and establishing the compass directions.

I’m based in Horsham and will travel throughout East Sussex, West Sussex and Surrey. Don’t worry if you live outside this area. We can arrange an online consultation. Alternatively, I can come and see you in person — although I will need to recover travel expenses.

Yes. I’ll treat your home as one area, but I can narrow down the consultation to specific rooms. In my experience, the most popular rooms tend to be bedrooms and kitchens — but a consultation can focus on anywhere in your home.

Yes. Feng Shui works extremely well in outside spaces because it’s based on creating harmony within the natural environment. I’ll help you use colours, shapes, specific types of plants and water features to make this space a haven of tranquillity and calm.

I’ll need your date of birth and, if known, the time you were born. I’ll also ask you for the dates and times of birth of other people in your household. In addition, I’ll ask for a floorplan of your household. If you can’t get hold of a floorplan, don’t worry. I can give you advice on how to get hold of one, or we can draft a floorplan as part of the consultation.

Please don’t. It’s important for me to see the daily, real world environment in which you’re working. It helps me understand the impact this is currently having on you and your wellbeing.
